Create HitBTC API key

If you already have a HitBTC account, you can generate the API Key:

  1. Log in with your user and password to HitBTC.
  2. Press in the little cog icon you’ll find in the upper right corner to get into the Settings.
  3. Then press the tab called API keys.
  4. Click on New API key.
  5. Your API and Secret will be created.
  6. Check the permissions as follow:
    • Order book, History, Trading balance set it as Checked
    • Place/cancel orders set it as Checked
    • Payment information set it as Checked
    • Withdraw Cryptocurrencies set it as Unchecked.Important: Do NOT give AstreoBot Withdrawal rights.
  7. HitBTC will ask you for your 2FA Code. Set your 2FA token, and press Confirm.
  8. You will receive an email with a confirmation link. Click it to approve changes in permissions.
  9. Now you have your Key and Secret.
