If you already have a Poloniex account, you can generate the API Key:

  1. Log in with your user and password to Poloniex.
  2. Press in the little wrench icon you’ll find in the upper right corner. Then press the menu item called API Keys. You can also use this URL: https://poloniex.com/apiKeys
  3. Click on Create new key.
  4. Poloniex will ask for your confirmation setting your Google Authenticator Code. Set your 2FA token, and press Submit.
  5. It will send an email to your account. Click on the verification link.
  6. The API key will be created.
  7. Check the permissions as follow:
    • Enable trading: set it as Checked
    • Enable Withdrawals: set it as Unchecked. Do NOT give AstreoBot Withdrawal rights.
  8. Now you have your Key and Secret.
